Choosing the right location is the first step in planning your session, and an important one. If there's a park, a grandparent’s farm, or a backyard that already holds meaning for you or your family, somewhere you've spent time and love, then let's go there!

If nothing comes to mind right away, that's completely okay, the next step is asking what fits your family's personality, or even what your style of clothing will be for the session. Cowboy boots and a flowy dress, let’s head somewhere that looks like we are out in the country. Heels and a sharp blazer, downtown architecture and city energy might be more your style.

Below are some of my favorite spots around Houston (and beyond) that I love shooting at! Most of these locations are free for professional photography, if there is a fee it will be discussed in advance.
